I received a free copy of Smart School House Crafts for Kids for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
There are a lot of bloggers out there in the blogosphere, and I’ve had the good fortune to meet some of them and even become good friends with a few of them. Although we’ve never met, Kelly of Smart School House is a dear blogging friend. We’ve worked together in the past and have a great friendship that’s developed over the years. That’s why I’m THRILLED to share her brand spankin’ new {and absolutely gorgeous} kids craft book that was recently published a few months ago!
It’s beautiful and smart and chock full of wonderfully fun ideas to encourage creativity and play with your child. I was eager to try out one of the activities as soon as the book arrived and decided to go with the Glow in the Dark Wiffle Balls.
All you need for this fun activity are some wiffle balls {which conveniently I already had} and a package of glow stick bracelets {dollar store people}. Since my kiddos are pretty young, I went ahead and assembled everything before showing them. I put two glow sticks in each ball and that’s it! It was the EASIEST {and honestly} the best activity ever. I got them out before the kids baths one night and we played with them in the boy’s room with the lights turned off. My oldest asked if we could use them in the tub during bath time, and I think they were a huge hit.
The rest of Kelly’s book is full of other equally amazing and fun crafts, projects, and activities and divided up by season! I’m so excited to work on some more Summer projects using her book as a guide!
