This year I’ve decided to truly make a commitment to begin homeschooling our oldest little guy. He just turned 3 in July and loves to learn. He often asks if he can “do his work” and loves to get out educational toys that this one time teacher has managed to save and accumulate over the years. Just like when I taught, I’ve searched long and hard to find a lesson plan book to fit my needs with little success. Sometimes I think you just have to specifically make what you need. So, maybe these weekly plans will work for you, maybe they won’t. Hopefully they will at least give you a general idea of the direction you want to take with your preschool homeschooling plans this year!

Now, there isn’t much to it. I created a binder cover, one that says preschool and one that just has the school year 2014-2015 on it.
Inside I’ve got five sections marked off with dividers.
Plan Book Sections:
1. A monthly calendar {I found an adorable FREE chevron print calendar on Teachers Pay Teachers}
2. Weekly Plans
3. Letter of the Week Curriculum Lesson Plans from Confessions of a Homeschooler {$15 to download the entire curriculum}
4. book lists
5. themes/units
The Weekly Plans layout that I created is a two-page spread and looks like this…
I’m planning to start cracking down and working with my three year old at least three days a week starting the first week in September. Our schedule may change from week to week, we may not necessarily have a theme each week, but the space for anything and everything that I thought could possibly come up is there if I need it.
If you’d like to use my template, I invite you download the printables below. Please keep in mind that these are for personal use only and may not be reproduced or sold for profit. They are also not editable.
Happy planning {and learning}!
