My friends at Oriental Trading sent some product in exchange for this post and review. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
I was so excited to browse through the Oriental Trading website to select items for our Teal Pumpkin goodies this year! We’ve never participated in the Teal Pumpkin Project before, but I’m sure it will be a fun year to get started. Fortunately my children don’t have any known food or peanut allergies, but I know so many of our friends do. I’m excited to be able to offer fun treats and goodies to our neighborhood friends if they can’t enjoy some Halloween candy.
What is the Teal Pumpkin Project?!
Participation is easy! All you’ll have to do is find a pumpkin, paint it teal, and place it on your front porch {or where you’ll be passing out treats on Halloween}. Many stores, like Oriental Trading, even have faux pumpkins that are already painted teal….SO EASY!! On the evening of trick-or-treating, have some non-food treats for those trick-or-treaters that want–and in many cases–need them instead of candy. Including these children can mean the world to these families.
And, lucky for you….Oriental Trading can be your one-stop shop for all of your Teal Pumpkin Project needs.
Here are the items I chose to give out to our Teal Pumpkin Project friends in the neighborhood this year:
Foam Teal Pumpkin | Colorful Rhinestone Rings | Bendable Spiders
Star Wands | Halloween Rubber Duckies | Halloween Fun Bands
Shutter Sunglasses | Monster Tattoos
