The Christmas season is officially upon us. It’s honestly my most favorite time of the year. I love to decorate our home for the holidays, I love to sit in a Christmas Tree lit room under a cozy blanket, and I love the togetherness that we all seem to experience around this time of the year. I’m looking forward to get togethers with friends and family, small celebrations and a few larger ones too.
I am all about EASY holiday parties. Less stress for me as the hostess equals more time to connect with family and friends. These are just a few ideas for making entertaining low key and simple for this special time of year.
Color Scheme
Pick one or two colors for the food table and the rest of your space will look cohesive. Since it’s Christmas, I went with red and white knowing that most of our Christmas decor falls into those classic Christmas colors as well.
Simple Festive Decor
Use one or two items that you already own to decorate the party area. Again, it’s Christmas, so this should be super easy. Grab some mini Christmas trees or pretty garland, and you’re set!
Sweet Treats & Party Snacks
Nothing goes better with a party than party food. You don’t have to make everything homemade. Grab some yummy appetizers from your grocery store’s ready made section and some yummy tortilla chips or crackers. Focus your time on easy to make {and delicious} quick desserts found at NABISCO Party Planner. For this small get together, I grabbed our FAVORITE cookies, OREOs and made some delicious OREO Candy Cane Bark. The recipe can be found at NABISCO Party Planner along with several other themed holiday recipes from NABISCO as well as coupons savings at Publix.
Find OREO cookies at your local Publix and use their coupon to save $0.55 when you buy ONE (1) OREO Cookies package!
