I received free product from my friends at Expressions Vinyl for this post. All opinions of the company and its products are 100% my own!
So you finally got a cutting machine?! My personal favorite is the Cricut Explore in case you’re in the market to purchase one. Now you need some project ideas. Well, I’ve teamed up with dozens of other talented bloggers to bring you a HUGE compilation of amazing vinyl projects that are so super EASY! My project is both cute and useful…toothbrush jars for your kids.
To make them, you’ll need the following supplies:
glass {or better yet, plastic} jars
multiple colors of removable indoor vinyl
Cricut Explore & Design Space
I intended to simply add my kids’ initials to each jar at first, but decided a cute little character would be fun for now since they’re young. So, I set out perusing Cricut Design Space and decided on a cute princess for little miss and a robot and a dinosaur for the boys. Afterwards, I figured out the colors I’d use and went ahead and cut out the sizes I’d need to make each cut.
TIP: I always size out the vinyl that I’ll need for a project before sticking it on the mat to be cut. Doing this makes the entire cutting process go so much faster, and {I think} it wastes less vinyl!
Once each piece was ready, I began to put each mat through the machine with the correct colors.
Love that rainbow of pretty Expressions Vinyl!! I’ve used vinyl from several different companies, and I have to say that Expressions Vinyl is by far my favorite. Not only are their prices the best, but the vinyl itself is top quality. I’ve never had an issue with it at all. Plus, if you sign up to be on their mailing list, they send out coupons ALL THE TIME! You’ll never pay full price.
After letting my oldest choose between the robot and the dinosaur, I attached their first initial to the side of the jars, just so there wouldn’t be any confusion!
Here they are, all ready for the bathroom, and to keep our toothbrushes separated. The boys love them, and little miss will love hers I’m sure as soon as she’s actually old enough to need to brush her teeth!
What are some of your favorite vinyl projects? Get ready to check out dozens more in the link up below! You’ll want to pin all of them, I’m sure of it!
