Go Gluten Free with LUNABars

The holidays are right around the corner, and it seems like I’m constantly on the go. My favorite on the go snack this holiday season has quickly become the all new gluten free LUNA bars.  Let’s face it, it’s easy to hit up a fast food restaurant for just something small, but I feel so much better about myself if I make a healthy snack decision {especially this time of year}.

I was thrilled to discover that LUNA’s regular line is now gluten free. It’s easy spot the new gluten free line by looking for a pink circle on the front of each package that calls out gluten free. Keep in mind, stores are still transitioning their inventory from the old LUNA bars to the new Gluten Free variety.

Some key features include:

Low glycemic index
Made with 70% organic ingredients
NO artificial flavors or synthetic preservatives
Good source of protein and fiber
Under 200 calories

I know, I know…you want to hear about how it tastes, right?  Well, I’m here to tell you that these are my new favorite snack bar…of all time…ever.  No joke.  They are delicious and come in a variety of amazing flavors.  Our family favorite was hands down the Blueberry Bliss bar.  They definitely fill our tummies and satisfy our taste buds.

LUNA bar has never contained wheat or major sources of Gluten, so they just  had to make a few tweaks to make the change for good!
