Purina One Challenge

You all know that I’ve got two sweet little boys in my life.  What some of you may not know is that we’ve also got two very sweet {a lot of times super stubborn} pups as well.  They are both rescued dogs, not rescued from a shelter per se, but most definitely rescued since we found both of them roaming along busy roads.  And they are both very much a part of our family.  Yes, they may drive me nuts sometimes when I’ve got not only two needy little boys but two, pretty much equally needy pups to care for, but they are sweethearts and adore our boys as well.

We were so excited to start the Purina One 28 Day Challenge with our pups because the dog food we had been using just didn’t seem to be doing the trick for them.  They always seemed hungry, their coats were very dry, and they shed constantly.  We also felt that our Doberman needed a bit more of the higher and good fat content that Purina One had to offer compared to other brands we had tried in the past as well.

After just a few days of using Purina One, I could tell we would be sticking with it.  The dogs absolutely LOVED the food and their coats totally improved within a week.  Plus, {this is going to sound weird I think} it seriously does not smell like dog food to me.  Now, keep in mind I’m pregnant, so my nose is currently a bit sensitive, but other dog food brands made me want to gag.  I can now easily feed the pups with our new Purina One Lamb & Rice Formula without a complaint.
