I’ve been consistently doing preschool activities with my 2 1/2 year old for about a month now. We’ve started easy, with a new letter of the alphabet each week, counting, shapes, colors…that sort of thing. With Easter approaching this Sunday though, I was eager to find an activity for him to help his little mind begin to understand the importance of the day. I was thrilled to find a few ideas out there geared specifically towards toddlers, and put my own spin on it of course. What I love most about these Resurrection Eggs for Toddlers is that you can totally make them in just a few minutes, with plenty of time to begin discussing them this week!
To make a set, you’ll need just a few things:
I also added some number stickers to each egg {since we are working on counting and identifying numbers} and stored them in a cute little egg holder I found at Hobby Lobby last Easter for about $1 once it was on clearance!
I created this simple printable to use. All you have to do is cut each strip and place it in the appropriate egg with the coordinating item. I adapted the printable from this source. You could even go as far as to bookmark each scripture verse to share as a family.
Once each egg had the appropriate item and scripture inside, I added stickers numbered 1-6 and placed them in the egg holder.
I’m so excited to share these with my little guy this week!
Happy Easter everyone!

I’m kinda bummed that the printable isn’t there. But thank you so much for your awesome ideas. Time to go do some research and make a printable😊
