One of my most favorite things to make are wreaths. That’s why I can’t believe it’s been since Christmas that I’ve made one! I take that back. I guess I can believe it, because things have been busy around here.
Over the weekend I had a chance to make not one, but two brand new grapevine wreaths, and I’m so excited to share the first one with you all today.
You only need a few things to make a tulip & grapevine wreath:
4-5 bunches of red tulips
grapevine wreath
wire cutters
red polka dot burlap ribbon
The BEST part about using a grapevine wreath?! You can easily re-use them for each wreath you create.
To make the wreath, I clipped each tulip from the bunch using my wire cutters. Once a bunch was entirely clipped, I slid the tulips into the grapevine wreath, all going the same direction around the wreath.
And to hang the wreath, I looped some cute red polka dot burlap ribbon around the top of the wreath and hung it over my pantry door. There is a command hook stuck upside down on the inside of my pantry door {a trick I learned from my friend Jill from Create.Craft.Love}.
I love it! It adds the perfect pop of color in our kitchen. Having a wreath hanging inside always makes me happy.
Check back next week for another Spring inspired grapevine wreath.
