Last week I shared a super cute thumbprint magnet that the boys and I made for their grandparents this Valentine’s Day.
Well, I needed a cute way to package the Valentine. So, I searched through the mess that is my craft closet and discovered a few goodies that I had stashed away from a Pick Your Plum order {the tiny circular tins and the cute kraft and polka dot bags}!
I also broke out my Cricut Mini and cut a few open hearts and rounded rectangles on some Valentine paper.
If you’re in the market for a cutting machine…be patient! Cricut is selling their all-new Cricut Explore on HSN this February 12th!
Even though the new machine is coming out, I definitely still love my Mini!
Once my hearts and rectangles were cut out, I used my paper cutter and corner rounding punch to trim the cute Valentine saying that I printed out. I also used a dab of paint for each kiddo and put their thumbprints on the paper Valentine as well. My inspiration from the saying was from this sweet blog {I adore all of her creations}.
After a bit of glue {I just used a glue stick} and some pink washi tape, I soon had all these Valentine gifts ready to send out!
I just love those tiny thumbprints!
