I’m joining forces with the oh so talented, not to mention so super sweet, Cheryl of That’s What Che Said today to share a fun and easy DIY Christmas ornament as part of her 25 Days of Christmas series!
In sticking with my Christmas tree colors of red, white, and silver, I was super excited to make these easy
DIY Pom Pom Ornaments
To make a few of your own, you’ll need just a few supplies:
plastic bulbs {found at JoAnn’s}
red, white, and silver pom poms
small jingle bells
red & white baker’s twine
red ribbon
To start, remove the metal topper from the plastic bulb and begin stuffing a handful of pom poms inside.
You can fill them as much or as little as you’d like. Since these pom poms don’t weigh much and wouldn’t break a glass bulb, you could probably use a glass one too. I’ve got little ones though, and plastic ornaments are definitely my friend this year!
To finish off the ornament, I replaced the metal top, tied the baker’s twine through the ornament hook part and added a couple of small jingle bells.
They are definitely my new favorite ornament this year!
What handmade touches are you adding to your home this holiday season?

Merry Christmas!
