It’s Summer {even though that bright yellow school bus I see each morning tells me that school has most definitely started again}. When it’s Summer, it’s hot. When I’m hot, for some reason I crave cool, crisp, fresh fruit. And sometimes, when I want a little extra indulgence I whip up this super simple and oh-so-tasty fruit dip using one of my favorite baking and cooking ingredients, Kraft Philly Cream Cheese.
To get all the ingredients I’d need, I headed to one of my favorite stores, Walmart, with a new digital coupon they’ve got for customers that live within a 5 mile radius of any Walmart location. To get a coupon of your own, click here. You’ll be directed to a page that looks something like this.
Simply click on the coupon {and any others you’d like to take advantage of}, print, and clip! It’s that easy! You must be within a 5 mile radius of your local Walmart to view the coupon.
To make Kraft Philly Cream Cheese Fruit Dip you need just three ingredients, and of course plenty of fresh fruit from Walmart!
Kraft Philly Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
4 oz Kraft Philly Cream Cheese
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 T vanilla extract
Stir all ingredients until smooth and serve chilled with fresh fruit!
I love to whip up a quick batch of this fruit dip when we have company over in the Summer for a sweet and light dessert. It’s always sure to be a big hit!
Another quick snack idea that I’ve loved since I was a little girl is to dip pretzels into Kraft Philly Cream Cheese. You may be thinking that sounds a bit weird, but it’s seriously one of the best snacks…EVER!
