Those of you that are regular Wait Til Your Father Gets Home readers know that I’m a coupon clipping, meal planning, money saving mama {or at least I try to be}. I absolutely cringe at the thought of purchasing products full price. Luckily, I don’t stress too much if I absolutely must get something that I don’t have a coupon clipped for if I’m shopping at my local Walmart. You honestly cannot beat their prices. Plus, when I do have a coupon to use, it makes the savings there that much better!
Another reason I prefer to shop at Walmart is because they always seem to have exactly what I need. How many times have you gone to your local grocery store to find that they didn’t have a product or ingredient that you were counting on them having in stock? Crazy story…I went earlier this week to my local grocery store for milk for my son, and they were OUT OF MILK. No joke. {And there wasn’t any weird weather conditions or any other reason to explain it.} Walmart has plenty of milk people! It’s definitely a store you can rely on!
There are so many recipes that I make that I can #CookWithSpreads and use Country Crock. Whether it be side dishes for dinner each night like this recipe for Italian Green Beans on ItsGoodToKnow.com or even a sweet dessert also from ItsGoodToKnow.com such as Apple Maple Upside Down Cake, I know they will taste fantastic with the help of Country Crock. I love knowing that with Country Crock, I can enjoy a great buttery taste with 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter. And by using Country Crock instead of butter in my recipes, there is definitely no compromise on the great taste it offers!
Be sure to check back in a few weeks to check out the dish I decided to make using Country Crock. In the meantime, have fun looking at their website, ItsGoodToKnow.com for some more info on Country Crock and some awesome recipe ideas!
Cooking your favorite recipes using Unilever buttery spreads is a deliciously smart move. With 0g trans fats per serving, less saturated fat and fewer calories than butter, cholesterol-free spreads are a better option.
