Every girl needs and deserves a little “girls night” once in a while! While going out can be a blast, so can staying in. That’s exactly what a few of my awesome neighbors and I decided to do this past week for some time to catch up with each other and take a little break from our day to day lives. To help us celebrate the night the right way, I picked up tons of fun Sally Hansen nail products from my local Walgreens {and some yummy snacks and drinks too}! Here’s a shot of my Sally Hansen haul from Walgreens.
They were having an AH-MAZING sale when I went on my shopping trip. With my Balance Rewards card I was able to purchase a lot of things at buy one get one 50% off, plus I earned so many Balance Rewards points, which eventually leads to free money for my next trip! If you haven’t signed up for a Walgreens Balance Rewards card yet, make sure to do that first thing next time you head to your local store.

To prepare for my girls night in, I baked some delicious banana bread, made some yummy queso dip, and put out some wine and fresh flowers. I absolutely love picking up fresh flowers when I’m out shopping. I always try to find the cheapest bouquet I can, because for some reason, those ones seem to last the longest for me.
Soon, my kitchen and dining area were all set up for some serious girls night manicures!
{You’ll notice there are also some delicious cannoli pastries and lemon squares…they were heavenly!}
And what girls night is complete without the latest gossip and fashion magazines and plenty of chocolate?! I’ll be honest and say that we pretty much devoured all of the candy. The Sally Hansen products we had to choose from included a couple of Nail Art Pens, Nail Polish Strips, French Manicure Strips, and a rainbow of polish colors. We all were so intrigued by the Nail Art Pens and the different kinds of strips that we jumped right into using those first!
Sometimes it’s just easier to let someone else do your manicure {especially on your dominant hand}. Raise your hand if your writing hand always looks kinda messed up because you just can’t get it to look that great?! I know mine does!
After reading the directions for the Nail Polish Strips, three out of the five of us decided to give those a whirl.
And we are really glad we did! They were SO easy to apply, they look AWESOME, and have totally lasted {I’m on day six now and mine still look the same as day one}! I was slightly hesitant to use them, thinking they might look totally fake, but to me, they look like the real thing! Everyone else was in total agreement too. We would all, 100% go out and purchase more Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips in the future. They’ve got so many awesome colors and designs to choose from too!
We did our fair share of just sitting around that night as well…after all, what’s girls night without some snacking, talking, laughing, and catching up?!
{I promise we weren’t as serious as we look in these pictures…it’s difficult to take pictures and not smudge your drying nails!}
Everyone left with a beautiful new manicure, some fun new Sally Hansen products, and a belly full of chocolate!
I’d call that a girls night success!
