Before I share my handmade Valentine cards, I wanted to remind all of you to enter to win a box {or two, or three} from The Epic De-Stash Bash that I’m participating in with 20 other fabulous bloggers. There SEVEN WINNERS, each getting THREE AMAZING BOXES of unused crafting supplies from our own personal stashes! You don’t want to miss it! 🙂
I’m pretty sure that most ladies involved in the Create.Craft.Love Valentine’s Day Card Exchange have received their cards from me by now. If not, sorry ladies, don’t read this post! I am so excited to share my simple handmade card idea with all of you; I just can’t wait any longer.
I think these could easily be made for a child’s card exchange as well.
To make “Hoppy” Valentine’s Cards, you’ll need:
cards & envelopes {any size or shape is fine}
frog stickers
fine tip Sharpie marker
heart stickers
washi tape
I was fortunate enough to fine pre-cut heart cards that came with envelopes for $1.50 per pack of 12 {score}! If you can’t find a pre-cut card, I think using card stock and a paper punch would be a great alternative. Plain square or rectangle cards work just as well.
On the front of the card, I attached the cute little frog sticker and wrote out “hoppy” valentine’s day!
Inside, I added a heart sticker or two, signed my name, and placed a piece of pink and white polka dotted washi tape for fun.
Once I addressed the envelopes, I added a piece of washi tape to that as well. Hopefully the post man doesn’t mind!
I had a lot of fun making them and participating in the card exchange with Jill. I’m anxious to start receiving all of the handmade cards over the next few days too!
Have you sent out your Valentine’s Day cards yet?
I’ll be linking up here.
