Handmade Holiday Ornament Exchange!
First and foremost, we request that you follow your hostesses via the method you prefer (GFC, Facebook, Twitter, etc…)! We will be posting holiday handmade ornament ideas throughout the season, and we invite you to follow and browse our Pinterest boards for additional inspiration!
{Requirements}
Please, if you commit to participate in this exchange, you will be expected to make a Handmade Ornament for a fellow crafter. Your ornament should be post marked no later than Saturday, December 5, 2012. You don’t want someone else to miss out because YOU forgot the date! (Go write it down. We’ll wait…)
Use the links below to officially sign up. Sign up ends November 17, 2012. Because we are using Elfster, we will not be accepting email sign ups.
Make an ornament for your assigned partner. Refer to the above blogs and our Pinterest boards for inspiration!
Take pictures of your creation! There will be a linky party and posts featuring YOUR gifts. The ornament link party will open on November 24, 2012 (for all you overachievers).
The purpose of this ornament exchange is to cultivate new friendships and celebrate the holiday season! Please do not use it to promote your shop. We ask that you personalize your ornament for your partner!
{Frequently Asked Questions}
Who can participate? Anyone! You do NOT have to have a blog to spread holiday cheer. This exchange is open to residents of U.S. and Canada only. If it is successful, we will open it up to other countries in the years to come.
How will I know who my partner is? You will get an email on November 18, 2012 with your assigned person’s name and information.
What if something happens and I can’t participate after I sign up? We understand that life continues to happen regardless of our schedules. If you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY cannot participate after committing, please email me as soon as humanly possible!
{How to Sign Up}
To sign up, you will click on the appropriate country exchange link at the bottom of this post. There are 2 different exchanges: USA and Canada.
{Since this is the first year, we are starting small. Please email me if you wish to participate in the future and we can expand our country selection.}
Once you click on your country link, it will take you to the Ornament Exchange homepage on Elfster.

It’s pretty self-explanatory. Click yes to participate. {Optional to fill in the Naughty or Nice question.} To confirm, click RSVP.
Once you click RSVP, this page will pop up.
If you are already an Elfster member, simply login. If not, click Join Elfster and fill out the sign up form.
Elfster has some really cool features! You can send anonymous questions to your partner to get a better feel for what they like. Play around with it and customize it to help your partner create the perfect ornament for you!
