I just love Pinterest! A lot of the meals and projects that I take on are Pinterest inspired in some way. I’ve been taking part in the Project Pinterest Challenge hosted by Chrissy of The Taylor House and Jill of Two Yellow Birds Decor, and–good news–I made their Top 12 with one of my favorite Pinterest inspired projects that I’ve made, the Fingerprint Charm Necklace!
I’m so excited and honored to have been chosen by these lovely ladies and their group of fabulous judges!
I also wanted to give a shout out to my sweet blogging bud, Adrianne of Happy Hour Projects! She also made the Top 12 with her Jello Oranges (seriously, how yummy/cute are these)?! Be sure to check her blog out as well, it’s fabulous! 🙂
I actually first featured my Fingerprint Charm Necklace as part of her Mother’s Day gift series here.
Please head over to either Two Yellow Birds Decor or The Taylor House to vote for your top 3 favorite entries (and hopefully one of them is mine and/or Adrianne’s)! Just click on the vote button below the pictures of your three favs! I truly appreciate all of your support!
Now, here’s what I’ve been pinning this week on Pinterest…
I loved this stars and stripes bunting the second I saw it on Brown Paper Packages. I immediately made my own version to display during little guy’s birthday party. The best part?! I can use it over and over again. It’s the perfect decor item for summer or in all honesty year round!

The teacher in me LOVES these sewn journals I found at Made. Why didn’t I ever think of this while I was teaching?! Hopefully in the next few years, Jackson will enjoy writing as much as I do, and we can make a few sewn journals of our own. I think these are BRILLIANT!

Sadly, my little guy seems to be outgrowing his baby hooded towels. I know that the hood isn’t totally necessary, but how cute are these from Ladybird Lane? When things get a little less hectic around here, I’m hoping to make a couple for him. They would make fantastic shower gifts too!

I’m all about going on inexpensive outings with my little family of three. Having a picnic blanket like this created by Pink Pistachio would be perfect for an afternoon at the park or an impromptu backyard picnic.
And last, but not least…are you a fan of cookies? fruit? how about frosting? Well, then you need to make some mini fruit pizzas ASAP! I love how these are perfectly displayed for a party. I might just have to borrow this idea from Suzy @ Joy is At Home for my little guy’s birthday party…we’ll see!
