The very sweet (and super creative), Michele from Apples and Peanut Butter recently honored me with the Sunshine Award.  I’ve been so busy planning and creating things for my little guy’s birthday that I haven’t had time to write about it until now.  So first, I’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to Michele!  If you haven’t checked out her blog yet, you must!  And by the way, apples and peanut butter is pretty much the best, only way I’ll eat an apple!

So what is the Sunshine Award, you’re wondering?  Well, it’s an award given by bloggers to other bloggers that have “positively and creatively inspired others in the blogosphere.”  I’m glad at least one person out there feels that way 🙂

The award works like this:

2. Answer the following questions about yourself…

 Favorite color–I have an unhealthy obsession with green.  Even if clothes are so extremely ugly and unflattering, I’m drawn to them if they are just the right shade of green.  I can’t help it.
  Favorite animal– I love both of our dogs equally, but our Doberman has a special place in my heart.  He’s just beautiful and the sweetest pup ever.  We found him a few years ago abandoned on the side of the road.  He LOVES Jackson and I have a feeling that they are going to be best buds!
Favorite number–Too many.  I have favorite numbers because of certain dates.  18 for our anniversary, 3, 12, and 28 for all of our birthdays.
Favorite Drink–If we’re talking adult beverages here then I love a good glass of Merlot.  If we aren’t talking adult bevs then I’m a sucker for regular coke.  I know, I know…it’s bad for you.  It’s just that I couldn’t have it when I was preggo and I’ve been catching up a little bit!
Facebook or Twitter–Facebook just makes a little more sense to me.  I don’t think I’d have or use Twitter if it weren’t for the blog.  Sorry Twitter!
Good book or good movie–Oh, I’m torn.  I wish I had the time to read or watch a movie!  I think right now, I’d go with the movie!
My passion–Taking care of my son.  I love to watch him do new things everyday and feel so blessed that I get to be his mama!
Giving or getting gifts–Getting gifts is so fun, but giving is awesome.  I loved shopping for Christmas gifts for my son this year (even though he was only 6 months old and didn’t have a clue what was going on).  I’m sure I’ll go way overboard in the future.
 Favorite day–Any day that my husband gets to stay home with us, so that means usually weekends!
Favorite flower–Hydrangeas
